PEC Global was founded with a straightforward premise: international brands should be able to enter the German market without establishing a local legal entity, hiring a local team, or navigating German bureaucracy on their own. We handle all of it, in English, under one contract.
We act as Importer of Record and Exporter of Record for companies that need a legally registered EU entity on their customs declarations. We coordinate freight forwarding from the US to Germany, manage customs clearance through Germany’s ATLAS system, and deliver goods to their final destination, whether that is an Amazon FBA center, a German warehouse, or any address in the EU.

Our warehouse and operations are based in Mettmann, North Rhine-Westphalia, between Düsseldorf and Wuppertal, in the heart of Germany’s largest logistics corridor. Being right in the middle of Europe is a genuine geographic advantage: from here, reaching your customers across the continent is simply convenient. We have same-day access to the Rhine-Ruhr region, home to more than 10 million consumers, and we are within one business day of every major EU market.

PEC Global operates as a licensed customs agent under German law. Every customs declaration we file carries our legal accountability, not a disclaimer.
Licensed Customs Agent
PEC Global holds a German customs agent license and files import and export declarations under direct representation. This means we carry full legal liability for every declaration we submit, not the client.
ATLAS Certified
All German customs declarations must be filed electronically through the ATLAS system. PEC Global is certified to file directly through ATLAS for any German port, airport or inland customs office.
Licensed Freight Forwarder
PEC Global holds a freight forwarding license covering the coordination of international transport. We arrange freight on US to Germany lanes and manage intra-EU distribution from our Mettmann base.
EORI Registered
We hold a German EORI number, the identifier required to file customs declarations in Germany. Non-EU companies cannot hold a German EORI without a local entity. We provide this as part of our IOR service.

Some product categories require additional compliance steps before they can enter Germany: CE marking, REACH documentation, GPSR Responsible Person registration, or WEEE compliance. We identify these requirements before your goods ship and advise on the steps needed to clear without delays.
